The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision

The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated game designer lost his life when his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
